Dream Boat
Once a year the DREAM BOAT sets sail for a cruise only for gay men. Far from their families and political restrictions, we follow five men from five countries on the quest for their dreams. The cruise promises seven days of sunshine, love, and freedom – but on board are also their personal stories, their doubts and uncertainties……

Tristan Ferland Milewski is a director, writer and producer of documentary films,documentaries, documentary broadcast formats, commercials and music videos since 1993.
From 1998 to 2007 he worked as a director, senior producer and Head of Factual Department at MTV Networks Europe. He portrayed most contemporary class A musicians, like Madonna, Britney Spears, Marilyn Manson and was responsible for all self-produced VIVA/MTV Networks documentary broadcast formats. In 2008, Tristan Ferland Milewski founded his own production company Übervater Filmproduktion. Moreover, he loves to share his knowledge in the departments of story development, dramaturgy, and documentary work regularly as a lecturer. The documentary series „Make Love“for public broadcaster ZDF, which he wrote and directed, was nominated for the German TV Award 2017 and the Grimme Online Award 2014 and is now running in the 5th season. His critically acclaimed feature-length documentary film "Dream Boat", produced by Gebrüder Beetz Filmproduktion, in coproduction with ZDF, in association with ARTE had it's world premiere at 67. Berlinale Internationale Filmfestspiele, Section Panorama. It will be released in cinemas in Germany, France, USA and Canada in summer 2017. Tristan Ferland Milewski lives with his husband, his two dogs and cats as well as with his llamas and alpacas in the Berlin region.
